Being born and raised in Eureka, CA Mason was excited to leave the coastal fog behind for the seasonal beauty of Southern Oregon. After obtaining his Bachelor degree in Nursing from OHSU via the Southern Oregon University campus, he started working at Ashland hospital in surgery. While he was fascinated with the technical aspect of the surgical process he realized surgery lacked the patient interaction that he truly enjoys. Having chosen to return to school he pursued his Master’s degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2005. As a primary care provider, Mason enjoys assisting patients in all aspects of health and believes in treating the patient as a whole, not just addressing a list of symptoms.Mason’s caring and compassionate personality has attracted patients from all over Southern Oregon, and beyond. His new venture into opening his own practice has given him the opportunity to expand his patient base and cater to his own individual style, while helping to improve his patient’s health and wellness. When not in the clinic Mason enjoys spending time with his wife and introducing his children to all the outdoor fun Southern Oregon has to offer. He is particularly passionate about motorcycle racing and has competed internationally in endurance motorcycle races.
